In addition, Mobileum was the host partner of the GSMA Wholesale Agreements and Solutions (WAS) #15, with Deep Basu, Mobileum Senior Vice President of the Roaming Business Unit, opening the exclusive member-only event. The GSMA WAS is a working group responsible for the commercial aspects of the interoperability (interworking and roaming) between industry players to ensure consistent and reliable services to consumers. This year’s GSMA WAS#15 explored hot topics that included 2G and 3G network closures and VoLTE, the evolution of billing and charging, and 5G and network slicing.
Mobileum made several key announcements leading up to the event, including the strategic investment received from H.I.G.
